Second half of this series was much more engaging because they touch upon the real crime that you love to see, like taking down a huge crime family. Then there are the typical surprise legal ending ones where Stone finds some other way to convict.
Two episodes i really liked were Sonata for a Solo Organ and The Blue Wall, the former dealing with organ harvesting and the latter with internal affairs and a cover-up. Those two episodes stood out the most amongst the second half and i really enjoyed the nitty grity seriousness of them.

Mike: “So, how goes the conviction on this guy?“
Paul: “We’re putting the pressure on him, but he’s claiming freedom of internet on us.“
Ben: “Once Semaj testifies, he’s on the way down.“
